Joanne

Born and raised in California, I was lucky to learn about many cultures and cuisines from around the world. I found the special experience of having tea in my mid 20's. I was fortunate, at that time, to have a job which allowed me to travel throughout the world. Travel gave me an opportunity to visit tearooms both near and far. My passion for tea continued once I married and moved to the bay area. Shortly after that, my son Nicholas was born. Once he started school, I decided to pursue my own dream of owning my own business. Having a strong passion for gourmet cooking, entertaining, and having tea with my friends, I decided upon a name for my business; “Tea with Friends”. Operating “Tea with Friends” has allowed me to share my passions with others and bring all aspects of what I love to do under one roof. I feel blessed to be able to pursue something that I love so much, ... having tea with friends.

Stephanie

I have lived in Livermore for 14 years with my husband.  We have two children and one very lovey dog.  I love to walk, read, scrapbook and camp with my family.  I truly enjoy serving others and helping Joanne make each tea party a memorable experience.  It has been a joy to be part of Tea with Friends.

Rumna

I was born in India, but was raised and educated in many of the great cities of the world as my father worked in the airlines. I met my husband Roger in college and we have been married for 17 wonderful years and are blessed with two loving children. My career background is in journalism – newspaper writing and TV news. Presently I am in the process of pursuing academic tutoring so I can utilize my education and be available for my children. As a family, we love doing home improvement projects, watching foreign films, international cooking and entertaining our friends! I met Joanne Massa about five years ago and was intrigued by Tea with Friends… her creations are reminiscent of cottage tea parties embracing classic English touches I so admire and I am now honored and delighted to be a part of this endeavor !

Deanna

I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my two boys and husband of 12 years. We spend our summers camping and boating. When I have free time, I enjoy reading a book or relaxing outside. Living in a home surrounded by males deprives me of all that is frilly. Working for Tea with Friends allows me the opportunity to enjoy all that is feminine.

Cindy

In that I am a mother of three active girls and a working preschool teacher, I began catering as an excuse to get out of the house and be with adults - a paying hobby of sorts. I enjoy traveling (especially cruising), reading, and baking.

Janelle

I am a wife and mother of three boys. My hobbies include hiking, camping, sailing, cooking, and watching sumo wrestling. I so enjoy working for Tea with Friends because it gets me out of a house full of men and into a fun and creative activity with other women.
